Cornucopia's Guest Rooms are magnificent - but so, too, are their surroundings. In fact, country elegance permeates every room of this grand old house, while providing 21st century amenities such as wireless internet and digital cable television. The Public Rooms - described briefly below - provide guests with wonderful spaces to visit with one another, to sit by the fire, to read a book. Click the images below for larger views.

The Keeping Room - click images for larger views

The Keeping Room was the everything room in a Colonial home where families cooked, ate, relaxed, read and sat before an ever-burning fireplace. Enjoy all of this plus television with DVD or VHS movies, cards and board games. Wine and cheese or tea and cookies are offered to allow our guests time to wind down from their day. Prepare for dinner at one of our area restaurants by perusing the local menus.

The Formal Dining Room and Front Parlor - click images for larger views

The Formal Dining Room provides the setting for the full breakfast, which varies each morning as your hosts strive to delight your palette. It also provides the perfect setting for a private business meeting or a romantic dinner (with proir arrangements).

The Front Parlor was set aside for use when company came calling. Our guests are encouraged to enjoy this more formal, yet comfortable room--a quiet place to read by the fireplace or just enjoy the tranquility. Be sure to ask us about the "Preacher's cupboard."

The second floor contains a table with a house phone for making unlimited free calls within the US and Canada, as well as a library of books, CDs, and DVDs.

We loved our wonderful two-day stay at Cornucopia; wish it could have been longer. Christine and Ed's warmth and welcoming manner make this the best B&B experience we have ever had. Thank you so much.
